Project Coordinator - Client Services

Thermeon are specialists in car rental and reservation solutions. With more than 30 years in the industry, our CARS+ product is platform of choice for many of the best known rental brands.

Role Purpose

The purpose of this role is to work with our clients and the business to define, manage and report upon a portfolio of projects of varying sizes ranging from small client specific deliverables, through to product evolution, service maintenance and infrastructure migrations. We have a diverse range of products and technologies supporting our global client base, and every project will have a distinct flavour. The role will be a key link between our clients and Thermeon to facilitate and manage product enhancements and service improvements.

Key Activities

  • Manage a portfolio of projects ranging in size and complexity

  • Full project lifecycle from proposal, initiation to delivery and maintenance

  • Report progress, delivery, impediments, budget to stakeholders

  • Coordinate and communicate within the business and with customers

  • Manage project risk

  • Flag and resolve resource and task conflicts and escalate as appropriate

  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential challenges and devise contingency plans

  • Own the communication and execution of solution handover to Customer Support, service delivery, technology and other team members at designated milestones

  • Review and recommend changes to project stakeholders

  • Collaboratively adapt and develop new project plans, processes and communication standards for the virtual project teams

  • Account and customer relationship management relating to new and ongoing programmes

  • Management of workflow of day-to-day activities including customer support to ensure continued service excellence

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrable project management experience

  • Experienced with Agile methodologies

  • Knowledge of SDLC and associated software development practices

  • Ability to gain an understanding of Thermeon core platforms

  • Existing, or ability to gain, an understanding of the car rental industry

  • Experience of project management in infrastructure technologies and in Unix/Linux environments

  • Analytically minded with focus on attention to detail and ability to coordinate multiple concurrent tasks

  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills

  • Able to manage and motivate virtual project teams to deliver on time, in scope and on budget

  • Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate international meetings as necessary

  • Adaptability to change priorities when agreed by the project steering group

  • Be an ambassador for our clients
